A college student who ignored her witch blood gets days to master moon magic when immortals, shifters and a villain named Chaos come calling.
Our take
A sassy college witch crash-courses in lunar magic
Luna has spent years pretending her witch heritage is a footnote, then San Diego college life collides with immortals, mutant shifters and a villain who calls himself Chaos. Suddenly she has days to learn spells that may keep her alive. Readers keep praising her smart mouth, the banter, and a fast, twisty plot once it gets moving. The opening is slow and Luna's reckless choices drive some readers up the wall, but we think it's a fun, free start to a finished seven-book urban fantasy for anyone who likes a snarky heroine.
